The Revolving Door!

Author: Daegan Smith

The first step to growing your network marketing business online or offline is learning the crucial skill of prospecting effectively.

There is no ONE way to prospect effectively; the key is to find method of prospecting that produces consistent and measurable results for you.

When I first began network marketing I thought that that was all there was to it. You know . . . Get them in and then show them what to do and they will do the rest.

How naive I was . . .

The truth is once you learn how to get people in, the battle has just begun.

Why?

Well as you will see once you get your business rolling there is always a constant flux of people coming and going.

This threw me for a bit at the beginning. I didn't think this far into the process at first but it's really amazing to see.

There really is a revolving door.

And here is the truth that I've come to realize from this process.

The whole process of network marketing is filtering.

An the beginning you're filtering leads from prospects.

Then filtering new team members from prospect.

Then once they're in you're filtering leaders from complainers.

At the end of this process you end up with a team full of leads and like minded people that you can depend on and that can depend on you.

But as you can see there are a lot of layers to find these few . . .

The funny thing is some leaders start out as complainers and some complainers start out as what you think would be leaders.

You really can't tell who will fall under what category. Only time can reveal this.

So what does this mean to you?

You have to teach and train and support all your people equally and do a lot of filtering, but in the end if you do it right you'll end up with a tight knit team full of leaders!
