Air purifiers or a big business nowadays especially with grassroots organizations informing the general public about the seriousness of industrial smog and the dangers of it in effect in cities as well a suburban towns as well. More more people are becoming more health-conscious in general as diseases and problems affecting the health of the public are at higher levels already during the past decade more so than ever before. So when they finally get out their wallets and make a purchase of an air purifier it is in their best interest to maintain it so that it can last longer way beyond its normal shelf life. The one thing to note is to not leave the machine on for an extended period of time and to give it a break periodically. The other important thing is to clean the filter or whatever mechanism it has for collecting air particles regularly. You want to make sure that it is maintained according to or better than the manufacturer's suggested guidelines. Guidelines may vary wildly depending on the environment that the air purifier is placed into. You want to make sure that it does not try to do more than it's designed to handle otherwise it may get damaged more easily and thus may need to be replaced sooner rather than later. |
