Author: Jason Montag

While this may not be a terrible thing to do if the person has the ability to accommodate all types of dogs, for some individuals the care for specific types of dog breeds is not possible. The best way to avoid any surprises after the adopting or purchase of a dog is to understand the breed and what it takes to care for it. Standing at about 25 inches tall and weighing in at about 65 lbs, this silky coated ultra friendly companion is a handful but, a pleasure. The Irish Setter is not a big eater but it can definitely burn up the calories. They require and enjoy a high amount of exercise, and are especially fond of the shooting field activities.
