Portable Garages

Author: Kent Pinkerton

Portable garages are custom-made shelters used for storing motor vehicles and other equipment. They are easy to build and are available with sliding, zipper or roll-up garage doors. These structures can be custom-made if necessary. It is easy to put them up, and also one can take them down easily, as they are not permanent structures. A person also doesnt need to obtain a permit to erect these structures, unlike for permanent garages.

To set up these units, materials are either available in a form of a kit or one can easily assemble the objects with the help of a professional. The kits are also accompanied by easy user guides that enable first-time users to make their own garages. Mostly, garages made out of kits have canvas material and are easy to replace in case of damage. These garages can be erected in a few hours, in comparison to the long time needed for concrete or wooden structures.

The cost of making these structures is less than that for other garages. One only pays one-tenth of the cost in making portable garages. These garages easily meet the needs of an individual, as they can be easily dismantled and assembled. One can make use of space to the maximum with these portable structures.

These garages are available in many shapes and sizes. An individual has to choose the kits as per his requirements. Some of the materials common to these kits are steel frames, UV-treated and waterproof coverings. UV-treated garages are available in all commercial grades, and these materials are impossible to tear. Most of these garages also include a fire door, a back panel, cement anchor and a heavy-duty zipper.
